This sequence has a gentle flowing nature to it and primarily focuses on the fluidity of movements with breath and strengthening and stretching the back body. During pregnancy, we can connect to the Water element and its ability to nurture Life, to allow shapeshifting of mum and baby, and connection to feeling, fluidity & adaptability.
The Fire sequence brings harmony to the small intestine and heart meridians, which can cultivate feelings of joy, acceptance, creativity, devotion, purification, transformation, power and healthy desire.
Typically this series is more heaty in nature but for the prenatal series, we focus more on the devotional aspect of connecting to baby, opening our hearts to transformation, and physiologically paying attention to the shoulders and heart centre.
The Air sequence brings harmony to the lungs and large intestine meridians, which can cultivate feelings of adaptability, spontaneity, positivity, inspiration, letting go, change and vitality.
This sequence is uplifting and focuses on the inspiration and the exhalation of the breath, as well as the hips, large intestine region, and the opening of the chest. For the prenatal series, we focus on change and embracing the feeling of letting go of the old and making way for the new!
The Space sequence brings harmony to the gall bladder and liver meridians, which can cultivate feelings of vision, possibility, direction, risk, belief and faith.
