This course is for regular gas car owners who are wondering what the EV fuss is all about and are trying to decide whether or not they should get one. This course talks about why now is a good time to switch to an EV. It describes the North American EV market in general, who are the main players. It then goes into describing the main types of EVs and their major components. It explains how EVs are different than gas cars. What the advantages and disadvantages are. It helps you understand your driving needs and figure out your monthly car costs for both a gas car and an EV. It discusses safety, maintenance, range, charging speed, etc. All of this in easy-to-understand language. This is not an in-depth technical course about EVs.


It is meant to be a practical course that gives you all the basic information you need to decide if buying an EV makes sense for you and how to select the best EV for your needs.
