Egyptian Arabic for beginners

Good morning/afternoon/evening wherever you are, now that we said these phrases in English, let's learn them in Arabic along with "hello and how are you"

Let's learn numbers from 1 to 10 together!

Let's learn the short forms of the numbers and their uses!

Now that we learned the short forms of the numbers form 1 to 10, we will learn how to say numbers from 10 till 20!

Here we will talk about the dual form and the plurals in Egyptian Arabic.

This is the second use for the short forms of the numbers, counting the number of objects.

Note: look at the last 2 slides in the file

Now that you learned numbers from 0 until 20, the dual form and plurals, we will learn numbers until 100 and how to structure them.

In this video we will learn adjectives, talk more about sentence structure, where to place the adjective and where to place (el).

Now we will talk about how to express possession for masculine objects.

Now that we learned masculine suffixes to express possession, we will learn the feminine suffixes.

Some of the words that end with vowels, would take slightly different suffixes that what we previously learned. Let's take a look.

Yes, we do have a second form to express possession, but it is super easy!
