Description

Are you considering this course because you have been or are about to be delivering instruction in an online or blended/hybrid learning format, and video is one of the ways you envision sharing content with your students? Have you been thrust into teaching online due to the COVID-19 pandemic, or do you have the luxury of some time to get ready? No matter what your reason for needing to know more about using instructional videos is, the information in this course will help you more effectively communicate content to your online or blended/hybrid learning students.

The good news is you do not have to create every instructional video you use from scratch! You can also use existing videos to share content with your students. A mixture of already published videos along with videos you create will provide variety for your students as they learn from multiple voices and perspectives.

In this course, you will become familiar with the characteristics of effective instructional videos, learn how to evaluate and use video content that has already been created and published online, and use simple, free tools to create your own instructional videos. I look forward to seeing the instructional content you will create in this course!
