    The course Effective Read-Aloud Strategies for ECE Teachers is designed as a learning initiative grounded in a strong interest in and commitment to early childhood literacy practices. It is intended for Early Childhood teachers and literacy practitioners who wish to develop a deeper understanding of read-aloud as a meaningful pedagogical practice, rather than merely a story-reading activity.

    Through this course, participants are invited to explore read-aloud from both theoretical and practical perspectives. The content covers foundational concepts of read-aloud and its distinction from other literacy practices, its role in supporting vocabulary development and comprehension, and the reasons why read-aloud is considered a highly effective strategy in early childhood education.

    Each module is systematically structured using a simple and practical approach. Participants will learn how to select high-quality picture books, prepare a supportive classroom environment, practice expressive reading, use dialogic questioning during reading, and design follow-up activities after reading. All materials are presented through concrete examples that are realistic and directly applicable to everyday classroom practice.
