Description
Do you want to learn the techniques, language, wording and speech to coach and motivate your team better? If you are a leader or manager who wants to take their coaching skills to a whole new level, then this course is for you.
My objective is to offer you actual wording, tips, language, tools to deal with resistant employees. We will learn the dos and don'ts when it comes to speaking with assertiveness and elegance. We will also learn the intonation process in corporate/motivational speech.
In this course, I have shared both my insights from years of reading, writing, learning and practicing as a coach, and my successful career as a leader at a successful American company.
Coaching for effective speech entails following a process. And that includes talking to people clearly, listening actively, being empathic and compassionate, for instance. Likewise, voice control and mastery of vocal warm-up and presentation skills helps you embark on personal and professional success.
You will also learn and master the know-how and key skills of a leader-coach or a manager-coach. This course will specially appeal to non-native English speakers who are in leadership roles at successful American (and global) companies. Why? Because I have offered practical speech, language and conversation skills e.g., employing relevant tone, stress, intonation etc. in a business or corporate setting. This program will also appeal to native English speakers who are new managers or leaders. Overall, being a leader entails speaking clearly and to have a structure around the "art of communicating well".
And what's more, we will engage in an assignment where we will explore your insights and experiences.
Overall,
1) Master how following a coaching process yields fastest and compelling results
2) Understand how giving employees agency and power in any situation is the preamble to coaching and motivating them
3) Examine conversation techniques, intonation process and language that are and aren't useful: especially when you are dealing with resistant employees. And as you probe deeper into the techniques and process of handling resistant employees, you'll master the methods and tools of the art and game of coaching and motivating itself
4) Foster productivity, employee engagement and motivation through acquiring few key conversational skills.
Note: (Throughout the course I have employed the term "Team Leader", "Supervisor" and "Manager" interchangeably to denote their equitable managerial responsibilities, and for purpose of ease).
5) Few Quick Tips to master Interviewing skills and Public Speaking!
6) Employing effective speech techniques to handle difficult conversations at work
7) How to draft conversations to delegate effectively?
8) How to emerge as a confident speaker?
9) How to use your "voice of communication": to influence, guide, lead and motivate?
10) Learn few key "vocal warm-up techniques".
The Class Project:
1) What is the actual wording, speech and language that you have employed in your organization or home front to coach and motivate employees or friends and family members respectively?
2) What are your unique ideas, tips, wording, language and suggestions?
And thank you in advance!
