Description
One of the great things about portrait tattoos is that they can be so personal. By taking a photo of a loved one, and tattooing it onto someone's skin, they're permanently carrying around a physical embodiment of that person or memory. It's no wonder that portrait tattooing has become one of the most popular genres in tattooing.
However, tattooing a portrait isn't as simple as just taking a photo and tattooing it onto someone. There's a lot of work that goes into making a great portrait tattoo. What if the photo reference isn't quite perfect? What if it needs a little bit of enhancement or editing before it's ready for your tattoo? What if it totally lacks personality?
Portrait Tattoos are usually nice, but oh so dull when the photo reference is dull. If the tattoo is of a loved one, it can be even harder to make an interesting tattoo out of a lackluster photo. This is where creativity and skill as a tattoo artist come in, taking an average reference and making it into an amazing tattoo design.
If you're interested in learning how to level up your portrait tattooing, there are a few things you can do to improve your skills. In this tattoo artist course, I'll show you how to take a photo and turn it into an amazing tattoo design.

Instructor
I am known as Electric Linda. I have worked full-time and professionally as a tattoo artist in a pro tattoo studio since I got my apprenticeship in 2000.
I founded Attitude Tattoo Studio, Scandinavia's biggest tattoo shop, in 2008. I have won over 50 international tattoo awards and tattooed celebrities like Mac Miller, Vinni, Madcon, Hank Von Hell, Stian Blipp, and more.
I LOVE teaching. I have created many seminars over the years. I traveled around Scandinavia and did tattooing workshops with my students in a ring around me while sharing the process step by step. And the students could ask questions at any time. I am bringing this online, letting you watch closely what I do, and ask me whatever question you have.
