Given the scarcity of comprehensive and affordable courses on the subject, we decided to create research-based, informative, and accessible courses for all of those who wish to grow their knowledge of the insect industry.
I am Rodrigo Llauradó Casares and I promote the use of insects as food and feed.
I have 9 years of experience in research and development within this sector.
It was during my studies in Gastronomy and Social Sciences that I was introduced to the incredible world of edible insects.
But, when I started researching insects as food and feed, the information was not as extensive as it is now.
And courses on the subject were almost non-existent.
Therefore, for years I dedicated myself to researching, reading and analyzing hundreds of scientific articles on this field.
I have been regularly writing articles and content for social networks.
And I have also learned by myself how to raise crickets and mealworms and cook delicious dishes with these ingredients.
Today I want to share my 9 years of experience with everyone interested in learning about insects as food and feed through the first online course of Insect Academy.
