1. Pre-requisites from SAP Basis and Network team

     a. Installation of Web dispatcher

     b. Addition of S/4 HANA system (backend system) into Web dispatcher for URL forwarding

     c. Exposing ACS/Logout URL for S/4 HANA from intranet to internet via Web dispatcher (Confirm this with infra-network team)

2. Settings in Employee Central instance

     a. Payroll system configuration

     b. Portlets configuration

          i. Pay statement (standard service)

          ii. Form 16 (standard service)

          iii. Form 12BB (standard service)

          iv. Tax simplifier statement – Admin (custom service)

Pre-requisites:

1. All steps mentioned in Configuration in S/4 HANA – SICF services and session management should be completed

2. You should be connected to customer’s internal network (via VPN or any other method) where S/4 HANA system is hosted SAML2

Configuration in S/4 HANA:

1. Generate IDP metadata (EC instance) file for SAML2 configuration

2. Local provider

3. Trusted provider

4. Local Provider Metadata (S/4 system)

5. Generate ACS and Logout URLs

Settings in Employee Central Provisioning:

1. Authorized SP Assertion Consumer Service Settings

2. Assertion Consumer Service (ACS) URL

3. Logout URL

4. Application Name - Payroll

5. SHA-256 Certificate
