In this course, you will learn how to:

measure correct proportions for select facial features
sketch a basic medium height hairline
draw short hair, long hair with a widow's peak, and up-do, and an afro in three different styles
Illustrate basic garments (shirt, skirt, jacket, pant)
practice movement lines for your garments
apply style lines to you individual designs to make them look real

Instructor
Heather Pittmon, graduate of the International Academy of Design & Technology in Tampa, FL with a Bachelor's Degree in Fashion Design and Marketing, has been teaching for over 14 years. While working as a stylist at HSN post-graduation, Heather worked with many high-profile clients such as Serena Williams, Naeem Khan, Iman, Twiggy, Badgely Mischka and Tina Knowles to name a few. After relocating, Ms. Pittmon moved back to the design world, showcasing her first bridal collection at PLITZS New York Fashion Week in 2012. While designing, Heather also continued to develop BluOranges' summer fashion program which taught student basic sewing, design and styling techniques for their everyday wardrobe on any budget. Ms. Pittmon continues to share her knowledge with teens and adults through private and group classes, community events, and the BluOranges YouTube channel.
