This course aims to teach some of the most common and basic Turkish expressions in daily life.
It includes useful expressions, dialogues and lots of exercises.

Hello, my name is Ercan Gurova. I am an English instructor at Ankara University, Turkey. I have been teaching for about 10 years now. Apart from my formal job, I teach Turkish to speakers of other languages.
I graduated from two universities. The first one is ELT department of AIBU University in 2003. The second one is The department of English Language and Literature of Hacettepe University in 2009. I have also an M.A on International Relations at Ufuk University in 2012.
I first started teaching at the Ministy of Education. I had the opportunity to work with children from elementary and secondary schools. I also worked at private institutions such as TOMER. Currently, I have been teaching English at the school of foreign languages at Ankara University. I teach A1, A2 and B1 level students.
I received an online teaching certificate from the institution ANKUZEM in 2013.
At present, I have been writing a TOEFL book with my colleague Edibe Karagedik and my other project is writing a vocabulary and reading book for people who want to speak Turkish.
I enjoy myself while I am preparing teaching materials and I like the feeling of success when I observe that I have contributed to the learning process of others.
As a person who was born and bred in Ankara, Turkey and as a language instructor I believe that I have so much to teach to people who are willing to learn about different cultures and languages.
