
In this section, our first track, we will start from absolute basics and learn the Major barre chords shape with it's root note on the E String. Then we will connect two of these chord shapes.
We will increase the pressure here, slightly, and add two more Major chord shapes to our track. A simple D,D, DU, D strumming pattern is used here for the rhythm.

Track 3 we will introduce our Minor barre chord shape with the root note on the low E String and create a common chord progression in the key of C major/A Minor. We will also add some off beat rhythm
It's 'real deal' time and we introduce another chord progression in the key of C major/A minor. We focus on a D minor Dorian sound. Additionally we learn our root note on the A string chords
Here we use the entire C Major chord scale (except A Minor, which we have used and Bmin7b5). This is an example of how to string several barre chords together in a way that sounds like a popular song.
Now we move onto Major and Minor 7th chords and learn the chord scale in C Major/A Minor, again, for continuity. We also introduce the BMin7b5 into this jazzy sounding chord progression.
Essential Jazz/Latin chord progression here, starting with standard Major and Minor chords, moving into a 2,5,1,6 progression with Major and Minor 7th chords. We also introduce the G7 and E7 chords
More essential chord progressions here. We have a Dominant Seventh Blues progression, the classic 1,4,5 Blues in the Key of A.
Here we round up our knowledge of the chord scale using a rock based approach. A fast strummed chord progression with two sections using all the chords in C major except the Bdim/minb5.
