Formula for Crude Quick Valuation Method using P/E ratio:
Rev Growth = ((Y2 revenue -Y1 revenue)/Y1 revenue)*100 = percentage growth
Profit Growth = ((Y2 profit -Y1 profit)/Y1 profit)*100 = percentage growth
Compare percentage growth per year to P/E ratio and see if it justifies the growth. Eg. If a company growth at 67% in 3 years = 22.3% per year on average and their P/E ratio is around 20-23, they are correctly valued, if P/E ratio is un justifiably high, overvalued and conversely if unjustifiably low, undervalued.
