I have also posted a detailed session on how to use a dip pen and Indian ink for your lines. Don't worry if you dont have a dip pen or ink, you can always use a gel pen or even a regular ball point pen for this purpose!
Suggested materials
Waterproof pen or a calligraphic dip pen and Indian ink
Watercolour paint
A medium or large size round brush( size 12 or 10) and an optional small round brush (size4 or 6) for dropping in pigment and fine lines
Watercolour paper/ mixed media paper/ any thick paper that can handle water and will not tear or buckle.
2 jars of water (1 for washing brushes clean and the other for fresh water)
kitchen towel/ tissue to wipe out extra paint
