Instructor
Hi everyone! My name is Alex Assenmacher. I’m 34 years old, born in Barcelona, Spain, and I’m a professional filmmaker with expertise in aerial videography.
My filmmaking journey began at the age of 17 in Vancouver, Canada, where I pursued a Master’s in Art and Communication Media. I later continued my studies in San Diego, California. At 19, I returned to Barcelona to pursue a degree in cinematography, which I completed in São Paulo, Brazil.
I’ve been fortunate to travel extensively and work in diverse countries like Germany, Brazil, Canada, the U.S., and Spain. These experiences exposed me to a variety of cultures and allowed me to collaborate with talented professionals who’ve helped shape my skills.
For the past 8 years, I’ve been hosting and producing the WeTalkUAV channel on YouTube—the best job in the world! It’s a drone-focused channel where we test, review, and explore all things drones.
Platforms like Udemy are an incredible opportunity to share knowledge and grow as creators, and I’m thrilled to teach and pass on what I’ve learned over the years.
