Description

Students will be instructed on how to safely operate a motor vehicle. The Drivers license process will be present to students and well as complete coverage of the Kansas Drivers Handbook. Students will be instructed using classroom lecture, videos, discussion, and individual and group projects. The classroom section will cover 18 different modules, each must be completed with at least 80%, except for the Alcohol & Drug module, which must be completed with 100%. In addition to the classroom, each student must complete 32 behind-the-wheel activities without help from the instructor.

All activities must be completed by a date to be announced at a later date.

Each student must have an instructional permit prior to the beginning of class. There will be a $2.00 fee for a driver education permit and a $100 course fee for district students and $150 course fee for students from out of district. Course fee is due the first day of class.
