Bent Leaves From Beginners To PRO

When you start a drawing learning process, it is important to focus your attention in understand the way that the flowers, leaves, or branches are created. Understand the nature and the real flow of these beautiful creatures.

The idea is to understand how these forms sit in space and how they work together following some constructional steps. Then with time, you will do it automatically without thinking so much.

In this course, we will be following the steps to learn how to draw leaves in a way that looks more natural understanding the shape and flow of each one. In the end, you will be capable of drawing all these leaves freehand following simple steps

Throw the course I will be bringing some practice sheets (PDF format to print in resources) that I design to guide you in the steps to approach the drawing. I split into levels to start getting better with each practice sheet.

1. The first group of practice sheets is for you to understand some different kinds of leaves that exist by shape and kind of margin. It is a simple template to replicate by yourself these and get familiar with the forms in a flat way.

2. The second group show the two groups that the leaves are divided into compound leaf and double compound leaf

3. The last step is to draw bent leave. It is to bring to life these drawings and create an amazing natural effect.

The idea of this course is not only to do a pretty botanical line drawing the idea is to learn how to do it and with the time you will find all the ways that feel comfortable to you to achieve a great result. Don’t be disappointed if you can’t do it on the firsts tries you need to overcome this failure and learn from them and continue.
