Part 1 - Understanding Body proportions and body types2:46
Let's understand the proportions of a typical female body. Then Going beyond clothes and even skin, we will explore how the bones and joints affect the movement of the body.
Part 2 - Capturing the Movement6:00
In this lesson, we will learn to quickly capture the rhythm and movement of human body, which will help us in drawing quick sketches.
Part 3 - Understanding the female face9:13
We will learn how the face is mapped out, how the eyes, nose and lips measure against each other, and how we can eliminate the common mistakes in drawing faces.

Part 5A - Drawing Exercise15:00
In this lesson, we will sketch several female nude studies from front. I will show you how to do this using 2 media, brush pens and pencils. However, you may use any sketching medium to sketch these.
Part 5B - Drawing Exercise15:00
Practice a drawing exercise of the female nude, using any medium—pens, pencils, or charcoal—focusing on strong light from the right and deep left shadows.
Part 5C - Drawing Exercise15:00
Emphasize left breast with dark shadows and indicate nipples with few dark shades. Use a micron pen for final touches or smudge with pencil, keeping shading along the breast contours.

Refine the sketch by smudging the pencil work and adding highlights on areas that catch light. Draw a side view including the face, using the same techniques as earlier exercises.

We will learn to paint a female nude using oil colors on canvas. You may use oil colors, as I have done, or acrylic colors to get the same effect. I will share tips for both. Painting is a totally different ball game than sketching, and we will explore how it differs from sketching in this lesson.

Develop value contrast through dark and light painting techniques in the female nude, exaggerating shadows for depth while avoiding pure black and focusing on head and hair details.
