Description

In this course we will do a dragon in Blender...

...and a sword...

...okay, and a girl.

So basically we will make a girl with a sword and a dragon around her from scratch in this Blender character creation course!

My name is Niko and i am a 3D character artist with over 15 years of experience in the game industry. I have more than 22 000 students in my courses on Zbrush, Blender, 3D character creation and anatomy.

The concept is made by Sora Kim

We will start by making the head (as always with the creations of my characters), then we will make the rest of the body, where i will tell you the specifics of the female body sculpting. After that we will do the sword and turn special attention to its handle. Next will be time to do the dragon. We will make the curved body, and then add scales efficiently using some interesting techniques. After the dragon is ready, we will jump to make some ropes, which will take some time. Then we will refine various things to get ready for the lighting and render. Lights, material tests and render as well as turntable and shadow plane will be last in our list.

The Dragon girl in Blender course is probably one of the most complicated courses in Blender i have done, it is mainly for intermediate and advanced users. But beginners with alot of patience could also try it :). But for them i recommend taking one of my two beginner courses before you do this to yourself :).

Who this course is for:

  • Everyone who has the patience to make a complex 3D character in Blender
