An introduction to the course and what to expect from it.
Wordpress is by far my favorite platform to use for landing pages, the reason for this is because most platforms work really well with Wordpress and have plugins available for the platform.
In most cases a landing page is usually designed to capture emails and a sales page is used for selling products. I show you a comparison of the 2 types of pages in this lecture.
I show you a comparison article you can use to learn about some of the available Wordpress landing page editors out there.
This is a free plugin that you can try out if you are looking to build landing pages without investing a lot of money.
I used Instapage a while back and was pretty happy with it, they've updated it a lot since and do include Wordpress integration. They also have a free plan.
OptimizePress is a good choice if you plan to also build membership sites, I've personally never used it but I know a lot of marketers do use the platform and it is widely known.
Leadpages is an awesome landing page tool but it does not come cheap, if your looking for advanced features this is a good choice.
This is a very simple Wordpress plugin that I used in the past, the big benefit to this tool is some of the graphic templates included with it. Depending on your goals this might be worth at least checking out.
Visual composer comes with a lot of themes over on Themeforest, it's a pretty good plugin and very affordable.
Thrive themes is my #1 recommendation out of all the tools I have used. I've been very happy with the support and can generally create everything I have ever needed to with the plugin without any issues.
In the upcoming lectures I'm going to show you how to use this plugin and some examples of sites I've built with it.
This is a digital marketing website designed with the Thrive content builder by Thrive Themes.
This is an SEO service company using the Thrive content builder.
This is an example course sales page I've been working on that was built using Thrive Content builder.
This is an example website using the Visual Composer plugin.
Some of the themes you can use very easily with Thrive Content Builder are the One Pager from WooThemes and the Agency Pro theme by StudioPress.
In this lecture I show you how to create a simple page using the Thrive Themes editor. It's a very simple tool to use and does not require much training.
You may need to spend some time testing different elements depending on what your goals are.
I show you how to load pre-existing templates with Thrive Content Builder.
Thanks for taking the time to go through this course. Again my #1 recommendation is the Thrive Content Builder plugin.
If you don't have a lot of money to invest in these types of tools there are plenty of free Wordpress plugins out there to try out.

Have you ever tried building a landing page from scratch?
It's not easy, we all know it!
Even in 2017 there are some tools that have a steep learning curve and take a lot of time to learn how to use.
No one wants to be spending weeks building out a simple landing page or sales page for their business.
How this course will help you decide what tools to use
I put together this course as a way to compare and discuss many of the major landing page platforms.
I've had experience using many of the platforms from free, to one time to monthly and I've spent a lot of time testing and tweaking.
I'm going to walk you through many of the platforms widely available for Wordpress discussing the pros and cons of each.
I then guide you through some example landing pages I built with ease using my favorite Wordpress landing page creator.
If you have ever been interested in creating your own landing pages for Wordpress, this is the course for you!
