  • Choose confidently between lakehouse, warehouse, eventhouse, shortcuts, mirroring, Dataflow Gen2 and notebooks for a scenario
  • Read and reason about SQL, KQL and DAX queries the way the exam presents them
  • Configure security, Git integration, deployment pipelines and the XMLA endpoint with the right roles and settings
  • Pick the right storage mode and tune Direct Lake, composite models, calculation groups and incremental refresh
  • Learn from per-option feedback and a Microsoft Learn source link on every one of the 500 questions

Description

Have you worked through the Microsoft Learn modules for DP-600 and still do not know whether you would pass today? These five practice tests give you a clear answer, question by question and domain by domain.

The course contains 500 original questions for exam DP-600, Implementing Analytics Solutions Using Microsoft Fabric, aligned to the skills measured as of October 19, 2026. Every question maps to one of the three official domains, Maintain a data analytics solution, Prepare data, and Implement and manage semantic models, in the same proportions as the real exam.

The DP-600 outline has changed since launch. The domain "Plan, implement, and manage a solution for data analytics" is gone, querying with SQL, KQL and DAX now sits under Prepare data, and newer topics such as the OneLake catalog, the Real-Time hub and the choice between Direct Lake on OneLake and Direct Lake on the SQL analytics endpoint are in scope. Material written for the earlier outline trains you for a different exam.

The five DP-600 tests build up in difficulty:

  • Practice Test 1, Groundwork: one concept per question, your baseline.

  • Practice Test 2, In Practice: short scenarios that separate features candidates confuse.

  • Practice Test 3, Trade-offs: two answers look right and one constraint decides.

  • Practice Test 4, Under the Hood: permissions, syntax, settings and step order.

  • Practice Test 5, Exam Day: long case-style scenarios under the tightest time limit.

Every answer option has its own feedback, so you learn why the wrong answers are wrong, not only which one is right. Each question also has an overall explanation that ends with a link to the Microsoft Learn page behind it, so you can check the source yourself.

After each attempt Udemy shows your score per domain, so you know exactly where to revise. The passing mark is 80% for Practice Tests 1 to 4 and 85% for Practice Test 5, deliberately higher than the real exam, because practicing at home is easier than a proctored exam.

What this course is not: it is not a video course and not a copy of the real exam. It is a question bank that tests and explains. Use it alongside the free Microsoft Learn training and hands-on time in Microsoft Fabric, and use Practice Test 5 as your final check before you book DP-600.

Who this course is for:

  • This course is for anyone preparing for Microsoft exam DP-600, Implementing Analytics Solutions Using Microsoft Fabric, and the Microsoft Certified: Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate certification. That includes Power BI developers and data analysts who are moving into Fabric, BI and data warehouse developers who build semantic models and star schemas, data engineers who want the analytics side of the certification, and students or career changers who have worked through the Microsoft Learn modules and want to know whether they are ready. If you studied with older DP-600 material, note that the exam now follows a three-domain outline (Maintain a data analytics solution, Prepare data, Implement and manage semantic models), aligned here to the skills measured as of October 19, 2026; DP-500, the retired Azure Enterprise Data Analyst exam, is not a substitute. This course is a bank of 500 exam-style questions with explanations. It checks and deepens what you know; it is not a video course and does not replace hands-on practice in Fabric.
