Doctoral Capstone Experience at Wheat Ridge Regional Center

This course was created to provide information over steps taken to create a doctoral capstone, learning objectives and learning activities completed to support individualized goals, and information over different sensory/mindfulness interventions learned throughout this experience. Clinicians taking this course would benefit from utilizing information from this course and implementing with their clients. There were learning artifacts completed throughout this capstone that supported the completion of the individualized learning objectives and learning activities. These artifacts can be found in the resources section of this UDemy course. There are questions to answer at the end of the course and my contact information can be found on the last slide. I would like to thank my instructors, my site mentor, colleagues, and friends that supported the creation of this capstone, and have allowed me to develop my identity as a clinician, and future occupational therapist.

By the end of this session participants will: 1. Understand the needs of Wheat Ridge Regional Center and development of the capstone experience 2. Gain knowledge over supporting literature used to create this capstone experience. 3. Understand the guiding approach for this doctoral capstone 4. Review learning objectives, activities, and artifacts completed during this doctoral capstone
