Who should enroll in this course?
You should take this course if you want to easily start Mixing your own music. This course is aimed at Intermediate Electronic Musicians. It is designed in a way that is very simple and easy to follow, with some prior experience needed, especially in navigating through the DAW and having some knowledge in Music Production. If you are having trouble understanding the terms and tools applied in this course, you can always take the Beginner and Intermediate courses, also offered by Divinorum School.
The Digital Audio Workstation used is Ableton Live.
The course is given in English and contains the following Topics:
± The low end: Cleanliness and Drive
± Percussions: Snares, Toms and Cymbals
± The driven Synth
± EQ (Equalization)
± Compression
± Dynamic processing & Parallel Sidechain
± Gain staging
± Stereo imaging and panning
± Mixing all the elements together

My name is Carl Abdo, born in 1997, I started the XianZai project in 2019 with the sole intent of pure expression in the artistic field. I was always fascinated with the power of music and it's ability to empower the individual. My first contact with psychedelic trance was in 2016, and I was completely mesmerized by it. A year later of discovering different styles, I decided to contribute my own sound to the scene. I knew that I had something unique to offer. Thus the XianZai project was born. The absolute fundamental Now. Through this project I manifest an intricate and meticulously accurate overall balance with each composition. Performances are played freely, intuitively, extemporizing through true feeling of the grand happening. It is characterized by abstract, daring, experimental sounds encapsulated in a divine atmosphere. Each live set is an unparalleled experience, allowing the listener access to the Higher Callings, the Celestial Heavens.
