Today is Day #1 and the introduction to energy and Reiki. Whether you're someone who has tons of experience with energy healing or just dipping your feet in, we will start at the very beginning.
In this section I will explain what Reiki is and how it works. We are building the foundation of your training with an understanding of energy healing and how Reiki is a big part of that.

We talked about what Reiki is and how it works, now it's time to talk about where it comes from and how it fits in the world today. Learning about the ones that came before connects us with the true nature of Reiki.
My history of Reiki training started in 2010 with Master Colleen Benelli, a Reiki Master Instructor for the International Center for Reiki training. Since then I have completed 2 Reiki Master certifications and studied a wide range of energy medicine modalities.
Reiki I Attunement15:00
Your first attunement how exciting!
The attunement process gently adjusts your energy pathways to allow Reiki to flow through your body. It's similar to a guided meditation at first, followed by about 10 minutes of a self journey experience.
The attunement is over after I speak a second time, or you may continue for as long as needed. I recommend writing your experience in a journal or notebook afterwards to remember any insights.
The attunement experience is different for everyone, but can include a feeling of warmth, or tingling sensations, a deep sense of relaxation, and seeing colors or visions.
You may listen to this or any of the other attunements as much as you like to refine your connection with Reiki.
No find somewhere comfortable where you won't be disturbed and be open to receiving.

Feeling the Flow10:15
In this video I will be walking you through what it feels like to activate Reiki and feel the flow of energy. There are many ways to do this, but the main theme here is your intention to help or heal someone or something. If you always have this in mind you can never go wrong.
Repeat this video as many times as you need to practice feeling the flow of energy. This will help to practice feeling the flow of energy.
Giving Reiki11:58
In this section we are going to bring everything together and show you how to give a Reiki healing. There are a number of ways to use Reiki for healing so we will be focusing primarily on the hand placements This will give you a good starting point for self healing and ways to practice on others.
For this video I suggest doing the techniques as you follow along. Later on you can use your intuition and adjust accordingly. In Reiki II, I will be going through hand placements and further techniques for a full comprehensive session.

Where do you go from here?
Practice practice practice. And by practice I mean build a relationship with Reiki by thinking about it and channeling it as much as you want. Feel the flow and build a bond with energy that will be here for you whenever you need it. Don't forget to rewatch videos if you missed anything or need more practice.
Continue with Level II Reiki. Level II is a big step in your ability to channel and increases the number of ways you can use Reiki energy. I will introduce you to the 3 Usui power symbols that increase the flow of Reiki, treat mental/emotional issues and send Reiki through time and space.

Reiki II Symbols12:49
The 3 symbols we go over in level II are the only ones that Usui himself created and used. These symbols are very powerful and have many uses which we will go over, but I encourage you to create new ways of using them!
This section will give you an overview of how to use and activate the symbols. I will go over them individually and in more detail after the level II attunement.
Reiki Techniques12:51
In this section I will go over the Reiki techniques that Usui Sensei used while also listing some variations and my preferences. These techniques are very powerful and increase the variety of how you can give Reiki healing. Feel free to use what resonates with you but also create your own techniques that are more your style!

This will not only level up the power of your Reiki but will also attune you to the 3 power symbols making this a very powerful attunement.
Choku Rei9:50
Choku Reik is known as the "power" symbol as its main purpose is to increase the power of your Reiki. However, it does much more than just increase the flow of energy.
In this section I will talk in detail about using Choku Rei with its main purposes and strengths.
Sei Heki9:49
Sei Heki is the Mental/Emotional symbol with the Japanese translation being "bad habit". This symbol has a number of uses and is special to my heart for what it has helped by overcome.
We all battle with our emotions sometimes and need support. I'm happy to teach you about this symbol and how it can help you grow from your struggles!
Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen10:18
Translation "The origin of all is pure consciousness"
Energy knows no time or space and neither does this symbol! Hon Sha Ze Sho Nen is the way in which we send Reiki at a distance, to the future and the past.
We tap into a deeper level of awareness and pure consciousness when we learn to use this symbol.

Take a week break before you start Advanced Reiki. Level II is a lot to take in with the power symbols and I find the body needs an adjustment period for things to balance out:)

Reiki Master Symbol12:48
Translation "Treasure house of the great beaming light"
Dai Ko Myo is the 4th and last symbol used in Traditional Reiki created my Mrs. Takata.
This symbol is used in conjunction with the other power symbol and has a deep meaning for a Reiki practitioners spiritual development.
Crystal Grid12:13
Crystals can be charged and used with grids to send Reiki at all times. In this section I will talk you through how to set up this structure and the different ways you can utilize it.

The first time I did psychic surgery in class I was blown away by the immediate results! This step by step process really brings issues into the light for removal and healing.
In this section I will take you through how to use Reiki to cut cords and remove unwanted issues that have been plaguing you.

This style of aura clearing is used to remove old stuck energy that no longer serves us.
In this guided meditation you'll learn a powerful process that can be used frequently to remove patterns and beliefs that have been developed since birth.
