Hello! My name is Maria Lomax. My art education started in the Moscow Art school named after Serov. This is one of the oldest art schools in Russia which have rich art traditions. The biggest amount of time there was devoted to the plein-air practice in the foreign countries such as Israel and Japan. Then my artworks from these practices participated in exhibitions in the Central Artist's House. In this way I have decided to get professional art education in the famous Art College MAXY in Moscow. I was studying there at the Sculpture faculty during 4 years exploring drawing, painting, sculpture, art history and many other interesting subjects. During summer practices we drew at the plein-air in Italy and also created sculptures from wood and stone. Other part of practice I spent in schools and art schools where I was working as a teacher of arts. Also in my college I was an event planner in the Student union and organised festivals for the 1st year students.
So I've graduated with the diploma of an artist, sculptor and teacher of arts. I am an artist participating in exhibitions and currently painting for the Stained glass company.
I would be glad to share my experience with everyone who loves art!
