
This lecture is the first part of the introduction to research proposal, it is necessary to understand the proposal first, since it's the very first step of getting your research topic approved. The contents of research proposal provides the idea about the research methods, literature, tools, and software that would be utilised for the thesis. The proposed tools and methods are then incorporated within the actual dissertation/thesis after the approval of research proposal.
This is the second part of the lecture 1, which introduces the audience to the research proposal and differentiates among research proposal and thesis.

Paraphrasing is not just picking one word and change it to the other, but you have to understand the idea of the sentence to change it into a completely different one.

Lets do an example of a quantitative research and involve a small correlation test in it. We will take an example of a cricket match, where if a batsman hit 6 sixes on six balls then a team will win. So, we will check the correlation among 6 balls and a win and 6 balls and a loss.
