
Coming back to the reflection of a really good experience, you'll begin to identify the specific elements of that experience and what made it so special for you. You'll start to understand what values were activated and why this particular experience was aligned for you. And you'll begin to give those elements a name.
You will be given specific examples of values and asked to determine how they align with you personally or whether they do not align at all. You'll be able to filter through what truly represents your beliefs and what doesn't.
Taking some time for reflection, you'll begin to analyze your work so far and identify trends or themes that run through your assessments, giving you a more complete picture of your uniques Values Profile
Many of our values are formed through modeled behavior, socialization and the experiences that surround the most influential people in our lives. In this lesson, you'll get an overview of what that can look like.
You'll be led to reflect on one someone from your own life who was one of the most impactful in shaping your values through the modeled behavior they demonstrated and how those behaviors shaped your beliefs and principles.
Our core values define what we stand for, and what we stand against in life. They serve as our internal gauge for when we feel satisfied or disappointed. Yet we rarely think about or claim our core values as our own, let alone understand how they were shaped and instilled within us. At the end of this course, you will not only identify your unique values, but you will gain insight as to where they came from, how they show up in your life, and where you can make small changes to intentionally activate them for a more aligned life.
And your brand identity is an extension of your core values. It manifests the values, goals and mission of your business. Your brand image is the catalyst that sparks the emotions you want your customers to experience.
Throughout the course, you will learn what values are and why they matter. You will gain a better understanding of who you are authentically at your very core, which can feel so liberating!
You'll get familiar with different values and determine how and if they align with you personally.
Through deep introspection, you will begin to honor the milestone memories as well as the most influential people in your life that were the most impactful and the values-driven experiences you had with them in your life.
You will honor and release the emotional highs and lows that created those milestone memories by distilling the wisdom that they created in shaping your values.
Once you've captured your memories, you'll begin to connect them to the values that you will have already identified.
You will reflect on the day to day activities that either drain your energy or fill you with energy and determine what opportunities you can create for minimizing the drains to make room for more of what fills your cup!
By this point, you will know your values more intimately and you'll contemplate further to determine the top 3 - 5 values that most definitively describe what you stand for in life.
With your new awareness, you'll design actionable promises to yourself to help you stay in alignment with what matters most to you.
Finally, you'll create a practice of reflection on your daily habits without judgment so you can re-adjust as whenever you need to.
This new Values Lens will give you an awareness for living your life with intention and purpose. And when your actions and behaviors align with your values, life feels really good!
