Hazard, Vulnerability , Exposure , Capacity , Risk, Hazard Vulnerability Risk Assessment, Disaster, Disaster Management , Disaster Management Cycle, Response, Relief, Recovery, Rehabilitation, Mitigation and Early Warning Systems are introduced. The learner will be able to understand meaning and purpose of the important terms commonly used. The course may be considered prelude to Advance Concepts of Disaster Management.

Dr Keshav Mohan served as Member Kerala State Disaster Management Authority, Kerala State Expert Environment Appraisal Committee,Director Institute for Land & Disaster Management and founder Director Institute for Climate Change Studies
