In this course you will learn the different ways of becoming a commercial director, how you get into a production company or representation, how you write treatments and pitch them as well as how you act on the set. I believe it can be helpful also to people from other creative fields that have to pitch creative ideas. Here you will find effective framework systems.

I start out with exploring how a commercial comes to live within the creative industry. We get to know what the ad agency does, what the production company does and how they all connect with the client, the commercial and the director. Talking about the director, where does he come from, what does he need to study or learn in order to be allowed to be a director.

And when you call yourself a director, what do you need to do to get jobs? I introduce you to the production company, your closest ally in this world of advertising. You need someone to connect you with the jobs, to introduce you to the agencies and clients. A partner, that benefits from having you and you from having them. And now that you are with a production company, do the jobs come automatically? I will teach you the steps that are necessary to win commercial jobs. How to compete against other directors and how to design a great treatment or pitch. Learn all this and many more things in this course!
