In this lecture we'll discuss the advantages and disadvantages of digital photography.
Did you ever want to become a digital photographer, yet didn't know where to start? The start is becoming familiar with cameras, computers, digital imaging, and software programs for editing. Cameras are either your best friends, or your worst enemies. Digital cameras have many functions that perform various actions, yet it takes time to learn what each function conducts, before you can snap quality photos. If you are going in the photography business, you will also need to know what is required to make a productive network.
Photography is one of the most expensive hobbies you can get yourself into. In addition to the camera, you will also need (and want) to buy a list of different add ons, accessories and gadgets for your camera.
Cameras are obviously one of the most valuable tools in photography. Without a good camera you might as well get out of the photography business because you are heading nowhere. If you are not familiar with cameras and the types available, then we can help you learn while you grow in the digital photo business.
Many of the direct vision cameras have hot-shoes, shutter speed dial, wind-on levers, frame counters, and shutter release buttons. Some cameras are more suitable than others for the pros in the field of digital photography.

Photography is not as easy as you may think. It is difficult to create photographs that will grab someone's attention in an instant. In this lecture we will discuss some tips that can help you get started exploring different photography techniques.
Taking photos outside can be a bit more complicated. In addition to not being able to control your subject, you also have to take into consideration the elements: especially the available light you have to work with.
When the lights come down at night what will your pictures look like? Some people are gifted and can take a picture straight from a camera and deliver a quality shot. It would be nice if we all could do this, but it is not a reality. Nor is a reality that those fortunate people can do this each time they use a camera. What are we to do?
A gamut is defined as the span of colors that a device can create, such as a printer or monitor. People use different terminology color gamut, device gamut, or simply gamut but they all mean the same thing. The gamut is basically a way of representing the span of colors a printer can print or the scope of colors a monitor can display.
A practical travel photography guide to improve your image composition with real-world examples and a printable field cheat sheet.
Some of the tools offered in editing programs includes, Crop, Layers, Clone, Exposure, Un-sharp Mask, Blur, Color, Desaturation, and so forth. If you are seeing these tools, you want to use them carefully, since many photographers will employ all of these tools on a single image before completing a task. I remember the first time I opened up Adobe PhotoShop and seeing all the tools available to me. My first expression was, somebody get me out of here! Well, nobody came so I ventured off to see where it would go, eventually I fell in love.
The editing programs today can do wonders to images. One of the most popular programs is Adobe Photoshop, since this editing program is one of the most sophisticated tools. Most pro photographers will use this program, since you can create websites, book covers, images, movies, and more. Adobe software is also used to design manuals, graphics, commercials, fliers, and more.
Learn to shoot with intention and use simple mobile tools to prepare your photos for sharing — without heavy editing or filters.
Action photography involves a lot of speed: photographing your subjects requires more than the usual knack for good angles, you'll also need some strength to endure physical limitations during the shoot.
Fashion photography is always in fashion. Modern fashion photographers see themselves as artists who can invent and reinvent different techniques and styles.
At night, taking a photo is not as easy as focusing on the subject and then clicking the camera.
