Description
Does any of this sound familiar?
You’re tired of your dead-end job and want to switch to a different field with more job growth and that you don’t hate waking up to every day
You recently graduated and struggle to land your first digital marketing job (or you dislike the field you’ve been studying and want to switch)
You work in traditional marketing and are looking to switch to digital marketing (I moved from TV and OOH into digital ten years ago and I'm so happy I did!)
— if so, you’ve come to the right place.
This course is for you if you're looking for your dream job -- or at least one that doesn't make you hate going to work every day. I’ll walk you through what digital marketing is really like to work with and how to gain enough digital marketing experience to land your first job in the field, even if you don’t have any existing experience and aren't ready to quit your current job.
Imagine just 12 months from now…
Not dreading Monday morning when Sunday evening rolls around
Having the flexibility to work from your home office, a cafe, or anywhere in the world
In this course, you’ll learn things like…
Discover if you'll truly enjoy a job in digital marketing by challenging yourself on REAL WORLD projects
Why certifications and diplomas make it hard to become a digital marketer (and the ONE thing that beats years of experience!)
Gain the experience needed to get your foot in the door and land your first digital marketing job (even if you're switching careers and have no experience)
How modern digital marketing “geniuses” virtually guarantee results in their work (and you can too)
I’ll also cover…
How to catch up quickly and avoid starting over, even if you feel like transitioning to a new field will put you back to starting from scratch
3 clues suggesting you're ready for your first digital marketing job
How to beat younger candidates with more experience (coming soon)
There are many ways to get help transitioning into digital marketing, so it can be difficult to figure out which one is the right fit for you. Let's look at your options, starting with a traditional degree.
A degree in (digital) marketing typically takes 3-5 years to complete, and while often costing an arm and a leg, it doesn’t guarantee internships or jobs in the real world.
I know that because I have a marketing degree and during the last ten years in the field, I’ve found that it didn’t help me land any jobs — so I don't want you to waste your time and hard-earned money as well.
On the other hand, this course will walk you through everything you need to know to pick up enough practical digital marketing experience to get a foot in the door before expanding your skills in your first job (that doesn’t mean you have to feel like a “know-it-all”—there’s a way to do this without feeling like an imposter).
Another alternative is taking online courses.
Most courses teaching digital marketing explain what it’s all about. That's a good place to start, but it can be hard to convince employers that just taking a class means you'll deliver results.
In this course, you’ll build experience that’ll directly showcase how valuable you can be at your dream job so it’s easy for the hiring manager to understand your value. This is a good fit if you’re looking to explore what digital marketing is without having to leave your existing job until you’re ready for it.
Another alternative is staying in your current dead-end job.
Imagine what your life will be like a year from now if you do nothing — when you look back at this very moment, will anything in your current job be different or will you feel more frustrated and tired, wishing you had made a change?
If you follow the exercises in this course, I bet you could be well into your dream job just 12 months from now… earning more than you do now, with more flexibility… and most importantly: feeling excited to wake up in the morning!
F.A.Q.
How much experience will I need to transition into a digital marketing career? Will this course teach me to get enough experience to land my first job?
Many candidates are recommended to switch careers faster than they’re comfortable with. In this course, you and I will reverse-engineer what digital marketing hiring managers love to see the most. You’ll then get to practice at your own pace, so you can decide how fast you want to make this change in your life (I’ll also share indicators of when you might be ready to apply for your first digital marketing job if you aren’t sure yourself).
I’m unsure if this course will help me...
I’ll make this very simple. If you aren’t sure if this course is right for you, go through the whole thing, and I’ll refund you in full within the first 30 days of your purchase if you change your mind. No questions asked.
Imagine the time you’ll save with this course — even if a digital marketing career isn’t right for you, I bet it’ll be well worth the price just because of how much time it saves you from figuring that out yourself (which can otherwise become a rabbit hole of endless research).
Join the course and start your journey to a new job in digital marketing!
