LECTURE (Video & PPT): You will be introduced to the basic characteristics of cryptocurrencies, or "cryptos" which includes coins, tokens, and other crypto projects. In addition, you will also be introduced to popular crypto ranking sites showing key information for each project.

LECTURE (Video & PPT): In this lecture we explore what is central to Decentralized Finance, or DeFi. We will define the term and examine its 5 main components. This will be followed up by an assignment to assess your comprehension.
LECTURE (Video & PPT): This first lesson begins by exploring how CBDCs may fit in the crypto space, or New Digital Economy. It then focuses on what exactly CBDC are along with their basic characteristics.
LECTURE (Video & PPT): This lesson continues our overview of CBDCs by introducing you to which countries are currently developing and have implemented CBDCs along with where other countries are at in their development.
LECTURE (Video & PPT): This lesson focuses on which key factors are being considered in the design of CBDCs along with concerns held regarding them.
Here you are strongly encouraged to take a couple of hours to view two outstanding videos by leading experts regarding Bitcoin. In them Bitcoin is not all that is discussed; everything you learned in this course will be examined in the context of our complex and vastly changing world of digital finance. Both videos are worth watching in their entirety. The two speakers are extremely well respected and regarded as leaders in their respective fields. The Michael Saylor video is an absolute must watch and will go down as one for the ages! I can promise that you won't regret taking the time to watch these two videos from start to end.

This course is will introduce the learner to five main tech innovations that are shaping the new era of Digital Finance, namely:
