Navigating the Digital Addiction in Children
Let me share a story (A pediatrician - children messing things up in his clinic)
How did it all start - This is the common way for Parents to keep their children occupied, a certain pride in their children using gadgets, higher preference for intellectual development over emotional and ego development.
Emotions - Tantrums, anger, outbursts,
Intelligence - speech disabilities, slower intellectual development in the long run
Stillness - lack of movement, lower Will strength
Heavy procrastination or laziness
Lowered creativity, communications skills
The modules and suggestions in this module will help you as a parent to some extent. Children need additional support and care to get over their digital addiction and I will be creating a separate course to address this challenge.

Impact of Stillness
Our bodies are naturally designed to use our head-heart and hands equally
When we watch media, we get into stillness of our bodies and while our minds and hearts are racing away along with the images or videos that we may be watching. This causes us to become more lazy and increases our procrastination.
To break this stillness, we need to increase our movements during our day.
The dopamine rush that the media creates is not something that we can easily fight or beat but there is a way to go about it.
In the next video I’m going to share a process that will help you overcome the habit more easily.
Few things that you will need to do before that;
Continue to work on your GRIT through the gatekeeper task
Come with an open mind to try out the techniques
Continue to practice everyday for the next 21 to 30 days. Don't make a decision of whether it's good or bad before that.
That's all there is to it, it's a simple and effective way, but it will take a few days to show results, even medicine takes time to heal, so give this process some time as well to show you results.
