Dr. Michael Tal introduces the digital applications in dental treatment, highlighting gyro scanner use, software kits, and emphasis on imprint during the care process.
Identify factors driving long-term implant stability and zero bone loss, featuring a conical connection, a 0.4 mm feature, and a straight or taper imprint with tissue thickness over 3 mm.
Identify surgical methods to achieve 3 mm gingival thickness and 2 mm buccal plate, using bone grafts, barrier membranes such as bio guide, and bone cold technique for implant support.
Explore three main protocols for digital-assisted implant surgery: immediate impression with open book technique, bone code backplate with soft tissue thickness, and Old Guys system digital impressions.
Explore the open book technique for immediate implants, including immediate impressions, provisional restorations, soft tissue augmentation, and criteria for implant site planning.
Xenograft can regain soft tissue thickness with about 40–50 percent gain using a double-layer graft to reach approximately 3 mm, favoring vertical augmentation.
Explore the bone core technique for delayed implants, detailing horizontal and vertical bone augmentation, soft tissue thickening, and the use of membranes to achieve stable regeneration.

How can we have a long-term stability of implant treatment? That is all dentists wished.
How can we get enough gingival height ? How much buccal plate we need in implant treatment?
If patients don't have proper situation, then what can dentists do to get ideal implant treatment?
In this videos, Dr. Michael Tsao will introduce a quick conclusion based on Zero Bone Loss. To communicate about implants below bone level, dentists will have to get some mechanical designs on implants, and at least over 3mm vertical gingival height of soft tissue.
Why we need at least 3mm gingiva thickness? Because it can provide enough protection to the bone and remodeling.
In our region, most of patients received implant treatment, almost no one have enough gingiva thickness in the beginning. So the surgeon will have to enhance gingiva height and also buccal plate.
And also Dr. Tsao will through some different cases to discuss some surgical methods, like open-book technology, bone core surgery and all-on-x rehabilitation. To tell how can dentists do and which material dentists can use to get enough bone and gingiva in clinical.
