I have been in the fitness industry for 35 years, having graduated from the University of Ulster with a Sports Degree, and then qualified in Exercise and Music. I then went on to become a Personal Trainer for 15 years, a Life Coach and a qualified Aromatherapy and Reflexologist. I have continued to teach classes in both Belfast and Dubai. I ran the Master Franchise for a ladies only gym called, Ladies Workout Express, successful business with 24 gyms across the UK. Working within the industry I realised the need for support and guidance in Diet and Nutrition along with fitness, and developed Diet Express. Diet Express gave one to one support, ran larger weight loss groups in the gyms, had online classes, and also worked with the City Council running a Family Fitness progamme, which monitored 25 families health and fitness journey over 18 months. In Dubai we sold our Diet Express Franchise to Fitness First, they rebranded the programme calling it Health First, which was used in all 15 of their gyms in the UAE.
