Discover the ikigai model and its four guiding questions to shape a meaningful, healthier life. Take action with practical prompts and course materials to find happiness and life quality.
Explore the ikigai method by answering four core questions: what do you love, what are you good at, what does the world need, and what can you be paid for.
Explore what the world needs by asking what you would do to improve it, then write freely about your world and values without limitations to reveal your professional purpose.
Discover how to interpret your ikigai findings by aligning your current work with all four aspects, adjust what’s missing, and seek feedback to craft a meaningful life the world needs.
Many of us believe that the meaning of (professional) life is waiting for us somewhere and that we have to find it. This is a big mistake, because it is us, ourselves who have to create meaning for our life and work. So its on us, to create the meaning of our life ourselves and achieve more happiness and satisfaction. This course builds on the Japanese philosophy of IKIGAI (value of life) and helps you - completely without esotericism - to find out what you have been missing so far and what you have to work on to give your life more meaning.
IKIGAI is made more complicated than it is in many courses. It is the simple philosophy of fishermen, craftsmen and farmers that, with just a few central questions, provides suggestions and hints for what you need to change, add or leave out in your life in order to become more satisfied. For one, this can mean a complete reversal, for the other only a small correction - that is up to you and it is also up to you to act and do something! This coaching cannot do that for you, but you will know why afterwards!
I have made this course / coaching many times and the participants were always positively moved by IKIGAI. You have nothing to lose and there is a lot to discover!
