What participants from past Life Experience Design programs are saying:
“I love how you both share your personal and professional examples related to the process. It makes the problems relatable and the process attainable. I have been learning so much from your framework!” — Ayesha S.
“The framework I learned from the life experience design workshop helped me hash out some measurable and objective short-term goals rather than always focusing on the long-term ones and feeling like I wasn't accomplishing anything. Breaking things down into actionable items was one of the best takeaways I took from this exercise.” — Taylor Z.
"Having a laid out framework was very helpful and made sense to follow along with you. Using it as a talking point and for discussion, activities were very effective.” — Jaimie C., Design Your Life Experience: VIP Program client

Instructors
Hannah Chen is a product designer and coach who has been designing innovative solutions for a wide range of products on the web, mobile, and beyond the screen experience of audio and lights.
Design methodology typically applies to products and services, but Hannah believes "design thinking" can also be used in daily life.
There was a period when Hannah was commuting 3-4 hours a day to work and struggled a lot to wake up in the morning. So she leveraged the design process and dived deep into discover the root cause of the issue.
She surveyed about 30 friends with a few simple questions: "What time do you usually go to bed, and what time do you typically get up in the morning? And how do you feel about it? "She discovered two key findings from the survey: 1) most people need about eight hours of sleep every day; 2) Waking up without an alarm can improve one's mood throughout the day.
Hannah then did some exercises on allocating her time for work and life, considering her constraints. And eventually, she found a solution that works for her: allowing herself to do whatever she enjoys doing in the morning. And that first thing she does in the morning can be watching TV or playing video games, which may sound ridiculous, but it motivates Hannah and helps her achieved the long-term goal of waking up without an alarm clock to improve her mood and increase productivity.
Besides using the design process for small life problems, such as sleeping habits, Hannah also leveraged "design thinking" when planning for bigger life events.
She wants to travel around the world and learn about different cultures, so she set a goal to visit "33 countries before 33 years old". Sharing her clear life goal, which is measurable and has a timeline, Hannah got a lot of support from her family and friends. That's how she makes her world-traveling dream a reality!
And now, Hannah wants to share the design framework and her personal experience, to help you make your dreams come true too!
