Description

By the end of this course, you will be able to design A Membrane Bioreactor system for a given water treatment in both external and immersed Membrane Bioreactor mode. The different design parameters for both immersed and external MBR will be discussed. At the end of the course, you will have an editable Excel sheet to design both types of MBR. The different types of membranes to be used for the membrane bioreactor system will also be discussed. The advantages of the Membrane bio reactor system over the Activated Sludge process will be discussed.

The pre treatment system for the membrane bioreactor system which includes the equalization tank, bar screen, and oil and grease chamber are discussed. The designs of the same are also discussed in detail. At the end of the course, a case study will discussed. The different types of coarse screens and designing of both manual and mechanical screens are discussed in detail. Though we may not use fine screen, the types and the design of a fine screen is discussed. The editable design of the same is given in excel sheets which can be downloaded by you.

The editable sheets will have detailed formulae and also it would automatically design the MBR system by just entering input values. The explanation of the same is there in the video.
