Get a quick tour on Canva today!
On this video you will learn:
Where everything is located;
Main tools you will work with;
Canva's interface.
If you don't know a particular language, how can you go abroad and communicate with the locals? The same happens with software and technology in general.
Canva is no different, in order to be able to use this software, you need to understand how it works (its own language).
On this lesso, you will learn:
How to navigate on Canva;
What canvases are and what they do;
How to manage them: add, remove, duplicate and lock canvases.
A canvas is nothing without its elements, and it's easy to understand that when thinking about a painting. The canvas of a painting by itself is useless, only after paint is added to it, the canvas becomes valuable.
On this lesson, you will understand:
The different kinds of elements;
How elements can be added to the canvas;
Ways to move, alter and remove them.
On this part 2 of the elements' lesson, you will learn:
Different kinds of graphics;
How to color (or not) graphics;
A way to use shapes;
How to create gradients.
At last, frames!
If you never heard of frames before, you will see how awesome they are and how they can help you when designing virtually anything.
At Canva, you don't have to know how to crop photos to particular shapes, you can simply use frames. On this lecture, you will learn:
How to add and remove pictures from frames;
How frames can change when using different kinds of textures and pictures.
Have you ever started a new skill and panicked, as you realized you are completely lost?
We've all been there, and technology can be really overwhelming to be learned. I like to think of it as a language, because it has its own shapes and buttons, all with different meanings and leading to different actions.
On this course, you will understand how Canva's interface works (its own language) so you can easily navigate it.
IMPORTANT DISCLAIMER: If you already know how to use Canva or any other design tool, I DON'T recommend this course to you. It was created for true beginners, without any previous experience on design or photo editing tools.
Stick to this course to learn:
What Canva can do;
If it's the right tool for you;
How to navigate and use it;
Its main pillars: canvases, elements and frames.
This course will consist of an example: a fictional Mother's Day post for social media. On this example, I will explain everything and demonstrate it as I go. You can create your own example after the videos or by going back and follow it step-by-step.
