Regarding Dental Lasers; we will discuss a lot of important and interesting issues like LASER abbreviation, difference between Light& Laser,Absorption Coefficient Diagram. Starting from Chromophores and its classifications, Laser Safety & different wavelengths that used in dentistry. We will discuss how to classify the laser from many points of view to understand the features of each type and my own Classification MOHSEN'S Classification. Also we highlight different fibre diameters and MPHD effect which discuss the effect of laser on the tissues.

I have completed my BDS from the faculty of oral and dental medicine, Cairo University, Egypt and my MS.c degree in Laser Dentistry from Genova University, Italy. I have authored and reviewed laser dentistry articles in many international journals. I finished my diploma in lasers from National Institute of Laser Enhanced Sciences, Cairo University, and have continued to complete additional studies in lasers. I currently work in Italy , PhD researcher in Roma Sapienza University and instruct laser dentistry continuing education courses internationally. I have introduced with my colleague a new application to calculate Laser parameters called EPT.
