to EFT for the deaf and Hard of Hearing
so what I'm going teach you
here is how to apply EFT to help you
overcome negative feelings in your life
ok so to start off with what I want to
do is I want to show you where all the
points are but before I do EFT stands
for emotional Freedom Technique and this
technique is a gentle tapping technique
where you tune your mind into a
problem state and tap on various points
on your body to balance the energy in
your body so you're doing three things with
EFT one is placing your attention on the
problem
A! awareness then there's B! balancing the
energy in your system by tapping on
these points and also while tapping on
these points is C! clearing the problem
that feeling that's holding you back
from doing whatever you want to do in Life
so let's begin by showing you some
of the points that you will be using
you'll be tapping here this is called
the eyebrow point and it's on the edge
of the eyebrow near the bridge of the nose and
then you'll be tapping on here the
side of the eye called the side of the eye point on the
boney point on the side of the eye
and then you will be tapping under the eye on the boney point under the eye and its called the under eye point
and then you'll be tapping under the nose obviously called under the nose point
now we will be tapping on a point called the chin point
but this point is actually
between the bottom lip and the chin and
you will be tapping here in that
gap in the bottom and then the collarbone
point just run your finger down
and across and you will feel a boney point just run it down to the top of your breastbone and cross and feel
around where you feel a boney point sticking out and you tap there and for me it sounds a little hollow
and thats called the collar bone point and then you will be tapping under the arm this is where ladies bra strap is
or just in line with your
nipple just follow your hand around
tapping there and then on top of the
head now you will be using the index finger and middle finger
to tap on these point
reason being one is a negative charge
and positive charge and I don't know if you have heard of Yin and Yang this is the energies
that run through the body positive and negative charge female male you will see that symbol the
black-and-white symbol
for the Yin Yang ok so they're the points plus this is going to be the first one you will be using it is
called the karate chop point and you'll be
tapping on the side of your hand ok now

process of using these points and
getting an idea of how to use them

Transcript the breathing exercise with EFT for deaf people
so in this video I want to give you a
feeling of how EFT would help make
changes for you and by doing this you'll
be tapping on these energy points and
getting a
physiological change in some way now I call this the breathing exercise
so what I want you do is I want to take a
deep breath in fill your lungs as much as you can
and as you release that I want you
to measure on a scale of 0 to 10 how for
your lungs where 10 been as full as they can be and
0 being no nothing in there at all
however I don't think you could have nothing
in there so whatever number pops to
mind were looking for what number pops to
mind as you exhale just see what number pops to mind
see how full your lungs were
so just take a deep breath in and release that now measuring on a scale of 0 to 10 what number pops my ok so with that in mind
I want you to subtract that from the 10
so you are left with a remaining number ok
now with that remaining number that's what
we call a breathing constriction okay
because your lungs are not full all the way up to 10
so were going to work on increasing that in some way
so your lungs fill up to that 10 or closer
to that 10 ok so what I want to do is want you to begin
tapping on the karate chop point and what
I want you to do is say in your mind after
me just follow the words you will see on
the screen just read them in your mind
even though I have this number of

is again read the words as we tap on the other
points now we are going to be tapping on the eyebrow point
that breathing constriction on the side of the eye

keep reading what's on the
screen under the nose that breathing constriction
chin point that breathing constriction collarbone point that breathing constriction
under the arm that breathing constriction and top of the head
that breathing constriction take a deep breath
in again
release that and measure on scale of 0 to
10 what number pops to mind
hopefully that number has gone up a bit
if not we're just going to do one more
round of this EFT for breathing constriction
again just read the words
as you tap on the points and I mention
which points and your tuned in to what
you have so if you have a different
number I want you to subtract that from 10 and if
not just stay with the same number and we will
continue on even though I have still
have that number breathing constriction I'm okay even though I
still have that number of breathing constriction I'm okay even though I
still have that number of breathing constriction i'm ok that number of
breathing constriction that number of breathing constriction
that number of breathing constriction that number of breathing constriction

and release that now again measuring on a
scale of 0 to 10 what number pops to
mind hopefully you've had some
physiological response of feeling that
you have filled your lungs or you had
smoother breath which I sometimes find
your clients that they find their breathing
is much easier and so you've had a
physiological response just by tapping
on these points and this is what you get
physiological response to the negative
emotional state or problems to hold you
back in life so those feelings don't exist
no problem so in the next video I'm going
to guide you through a series of tapping the
points to help you eliminate the
feelings of a bad feeling that's
connected to some issue or problem in
your life that's been holding you back

ok this time we are going to be working
on a negative feeling connected to
something that you would
like to do
but for some
reason you feel unable to do it because of
that negative feeling so what I want you to do is
think about something you really want to
do something you really want to do and its that feeling
that's holding you back everyone else
can do it why can't you do it so it's just
that feeling that holds you back when you
think about doing going and doing that you get
that feeling so I want you to focus in on
feeling think about what you really want
to do
imagine it in your mind just thinking in your mind
just about going and doing that
and perhaps getting in little bit of that
feeling you might get a lot but a little bit of that feeling
it's something for us work with
ok just notice where that feeling is in your
body
ok put color on that feeling whatever color pops
to mind and if you have a color on that
feeling put a shape on that color because
if you have a color you must have
some sort of shape it does not mater if its an
abstract shape a square shape a triangle
shape whatever shape pops to mind for
you
the subconscious mind works in a
different way to the conscious mind and
once you have the connection to the
feeling and a color and a shape you're
working on that you're getting this
its like tuning into a radio band
where your tuning your honing in on what you want to
work on remember what I said in the
beginning A! Awareness B! Balancing and
C! Clearing and that's what we want
clearing so that you can move forward
and do things you really want to do
ok so now you have your color and shape
we're going to begin tapping on some points
and again you just read along on the screen
and follow along with the tapping points I'm
doing so even though I have that color
and shape connected to that problem I
deeply
completely accept myself so even though
I have that color and shape connected to

ok so what I want you do is think about your
problem again exactly don't think about
other things sometimes other thoughts start to
come in I want you to stay specific on
what you're working you can always come
back and do this again on as many
problems or issues as you want to work
but just they specifically on this one
what were exactly thinking about a moment ago
now as you think about that what color and
shape is connected to that has that color and shape
changed in some way has the color changed
has the shape changed has it got bigger smaller it doesn't matter once some changes happened at a
subconscious level something is changing
for you so here we go one more round
with that remaining color and shape even though
I have that remaining color and shape
connected to that problem i'm ok even
though the remaining color and shape
connected to that problem i'm ok even
though I'm not remaining color and shape
connected to that problem i'm ok that
remained color and shape that remaining
color and shape that remaining color and
shape that remaining color and shape

shape take a deep breath in and release that now
think again specifically about that problem and notice
what color and shape is connected to it
now if you need to do more on this you can
always go back and do a little bit more
you've learned already just continue on
doing what I showed you to do as many
times as you wish as many rounds as you
wish but I will show you in the next
video in a little advanced technique that if
you find that your getting a little bit stuck
and you're not happy with the
color and shape because in the end it's
not about getting rid of the color
shape its about that color and shape I feel
better and if you feel better you have moved on
and can move on to some other issue if
you wish something that's been holding
you back from doing exactly what you
want to do
having the life you deserve

so you're at this video cause
you've been finding your a little bit stuck
and can't
move forward in what your working on okay so
I am going to show you some
different points to tap on and were gonna
have to do it in a little unusual way
what seems a little unusual because of
point to it so that you can get to make
the changes you really want so what I
want to do is I want you to begin tapping here
on this point here
ok and I want you to follow what I am
doing ok so what I want to do is I
want you to while you are tapping on this point
I want you close your eyes open your
eyes now I want you to look without moving
your head hard down to the right towards the
floor and then I want you to move your
eyes hard down to the left towards the
floor while continuing to tap as you're
working on that stuck issue and now what I want
you to do is roll your eyes clockwise
and then roll your eyes
anti-clockwise and I want you too count in
your mind
ok so what I want you to do is I want to count 1 2 3 4 5 and now what I want to do as I want you to
just remember being at a birthday party
for a moment just remember a birthday party
any birthday party that pops to mind will be fine
seeing all the people there seeing the
cake perhaps you remember the cake the most and now
what I want you do is I want you to
count from 1 to 5 again in your mind
1 2 3
4 5 take a deep breath in and release that now know
what you think about what you're working on
before we started and notice if there's
any changes we're just gonna do that one
more time cause I know it's a little
unusual so were just going to that one more time
I want you to think about what you're
working on what your stuck on
that nothing has changed
and your tuned into that remember awareness now what we're going to do is balancing and clearing
by tapping on this point here and I want
you to close your eyes open your eyes
look down at the floor without moving your head
hard down to the right then look down at the floor
hard down to the left then what
I want to do is roll your eyes clockwise
then roll your eyes
anti-clockwise and then I want to count in
your mind
1 2 3 4 5 and then I want you to remember being at
a birthday party may be its your birthday party
I don't know and remember seeing the cake
perhaps you can see how many candles
are on the cake but just remember whatever
birthday pops to mind and now what I want
you to do as I want you to count from 1 to 5 again
in your mind 1 2 3 4 5 take a deep breath in
and release that now and hopefully
you're done and if not then go back to
beginning of this beginning of the last
video whatever you wish to begin to
make the changes to improve your life

working on and what's remaining what
number you have remaining on that and if
you have not got a number just think about what
you been working on in the previous
videos and measure on a scale of 0 to 10
that issue .... what fragments are remaining
with that number in mind .... I want you
begin tapping on the karate chop point

your mind ...... even though I have that number
remaining on that issue I deeply and

again you have been working on again being
specific don't allow your mind to
wander onto other aspects of that issue
just stick specifically on what you're
working on because once that is cleared
you can move on to whatever else has popped up to
mind perhaps even take notes write them
down and go back to them again to clear
up anything else connected to that issue
but usually what happens is when you work
on one specific aspect of an issue ..
it helps to break it down completely
you think about that issue and perhaps
something else may pop to mind .... so just
thinking about that issue that you have been working on measure on a scale of 0 to 10 ......10
being the worst you feel about it what
numbers popped to mind so let's go again
following along with instructions and
following me as a tap on the points and
as you tap on the points ..... even though I
still have a little bit of that issue
remaining i'm ok ......... even though I still

bit of that issue remaining i'm ok ...... just

advanced technique that I have showed you
and get unstuck from that issue and
perhaps even come back here again to get
to zero .. but if you're not a zero and that if you are at a comfortable number that's ok too
have made a positive change for yourself and
it means that you can go out and do what
you want to do and not feel limited in some
way

going to be working on improving
feelings of confidence
now how do you improve
feelings of confidence with EFT well what you are doing is removing
the feelings of un confidence if you
like those feelings that make you feel
not confident
so what we're going to be doing again
you'll be following along with the
instructions on the screen saying them
in your mind while following with me
tapping on the points
so I want you just pick one thing you
really want to do that you just feel
like I haven't got enough confidence for that now you don't have to go for the biggest
thing ever
but just one of those things you would like to
do whether it is just go up and talk to someone
face to face you just feel like I'd like
to talk to them but I just don't feel
about it
so something anything at all whether
it's some where you work
anything at all something you want to do
whether it's sports anything at all just
think of something that ..... you just
got that feeling that holds you back
I wouldn't....i wouldn't feel good
about doing that
just some limiting feeling.... feeling that
you don't feel confident enough to go and do
something so hopefully something has popped to mind
for you that you really want to work on or
you really want to do so as you think
about that thing you really want to do
kind of imagine your mind you're there
just about going to do it
just imagine in your mind you're there
perhaps there's other people there and
just perhaps
you notice how you feel in your body where
do you feel that in your body
because that feeling is a connection that we can
follow back
it's connected to the trigger in the
subconscious mind and when we work on
that feeling
so that feeling doesn't exist or moves
in some way
we're affecting the trigger and just
like a gun if it hasn't got a trigger
it's useless so that .....that bad feeling is
never triggered again
ok so just think about that place you
want to be or that thing you want to do
notice any where you just feel some
feelings in your body
even the slightest little feeling it
doesn't matter whatever you feel there now
now I want you to rate that feeling
on a scale of 0 to 10 ......10 being the worst
you feel and zero being no feeling at all
about it
which means are actually confident about it
ok so with that number in mind
I want you to begin tapping along with
me and following the instructions
even though I have that number of
feeling that holds me back from doing
what I really want to do I deeply and
completely accept myself .......even though I
have that number of feeling that holds

if you have not noticed where you feel that feeling
imagine there is a feeling just whatever pops
to mind ......but with that feeling
I want you to put a color on that feeling
that feeling that holds you back
notice again what color pops to mind
now put a shape on that color
if you have a color you must have a
shape again notice what pops to mind
don't go searching for analytical
answers
that's conscious mind stuff we're
working with the subconscious mind and the
subconscious works very fast just pops
to mind just the same as when you're
trying to remember someone's name and
some time later it pops to mind it's your
subconscious mind has been working in
the background for you
so whatever color and shape pop to mind
that is the road we're working on
because that's
the connection to the subconscious
trigger
ok so with that color and shape
lets start tapping again even though I have
that color and shape that has been holding
me back

and if
its a color and shape that feels more
acceptable to you ...then your done
and if not you can go back and do the mopping
up section
or the advanced EFT whatever you wish
the other thing is sometimes people think
that a change hasn't happened to go well
something's happened here but when I go
out there...... so you may have a little
anticipation about going and doing that
but go and do it ... test it out .... and if you
find that when you get there you are
unable to do what you wanted to do you
can always come back and do EFT on what
you have felt...... you have all the tools now
to make positive changes in your life
