I use multiple texts for this course, the original Marsha Linehan DBT book with the profile face, the green book by Matthew McKay, et al. and a training manual from the person who taught me DBT in Grad School, Cathy Moonshine as well as some online sites including DBTselfhelp. The sections are separated by where the skill came from for those following along with a text. There are many examples and some homework-like parts in the videos, so I find many students have a notebook and pan handy as well. This course is "meaty," with 50 skills for one module- it's a lot and it's done on purpose. Feel free to not go on order, poke around a bit but please start with understanding emotions (6,7, 9, 10, 11 and 12) at the least.
The way I teach DBT is simple and a bit non-traditional. This isn't about memorizing 50 skills, it's about using as many that work for you! That might be 10 skills and that might be 30, some people find they need more, or less, some find skill easier than others to use and some find a few "holy grail," skills that help them so much they don't need to have a ton of skills ready to use.
