The course "Data Visualization for Marketing Insights" was developed by university professor Larissa Perfeito, who has been teaching since 2006.
The course aims to identify the right type of graph for each data. For example, to demonstrate a company's profit over 5 years, is it better to use a bar graph or a pie chart? Or a line graph? Or an area graph? The professor defines the functions of each graph and puts their applicability into practice during the classes. She also demonstrates when graphs are not efficient, causing doubt in the viewer. She also addresses storytelling, that is, the story contained in each graph and the persuasion of those who will present the data.
All classes have practical exercises, commented by professor Larissa, on video. And also, PDF pages that were used during the classes and are provided to the student.
The course also aims to build dashboards - without the use of software, but rather using ready-made templates that facilitate and speed up the time of those who need to build panels with data.
