Description
Data Driven Decision Making is designed for teams, managers, and executives to learn how to use data driven thinking to design decisions around strategy, process, business intelligence products, business structures and the customer experience. Big data is a symptom of our times, a challenge, but ultimately THE opportunity for the modern enterprise to differentiate and disrupt. There is almost no latency for business decisions in today’s hyper-competitive climate. Data driven thinking empowers the enterprise to act. Companies with purposeful, data driven approaches to decisions outperform their peers in output and productivity. In fact, the highest performing organizations use data driven approaches five times more than the lowest performing organizations.
This course provides a foundation for how to curate data to support decision making at all levels of the enterprise. The course also provides instruction on systems thinking with a focus on complex systems, and lastly decision engineering. Four use cases are included to provide real world examples of data driven decision making.

Instructor
I see business a little differently than most consultants. Instead of process and ways of doing things, I see business as the sum total of the communication of employees. All effort in the enterprise arises from communication. Seems we should start and end there.
With the advent of machine learning along with breakthroughs in natural language processing and cognitive research, the enterprise is about to undergo a fundamental change. I help organizations understand and harness the change for a competitive advantage.
