Based on the book Dangerous Virtues by award winning author John Koessler and published by Moody Publishers, this course will how to recognize the seven deadly sins as they are subtly disguised in culture. Dr. Koessler develops a theology of sin and offers practical help for overcoming it. This course would be a good resource for small groups. Each section includes a group leader's guide with questions for discussion. Dr. Koessler served as chair of the pastoral studies department at Moody Bible Institute, where he served on the faculty for twenty five-years. He is the author of fifteen books and numerous articles. Prior to joining the Moody faculty, John served as pastor of Valley Chapel in Green Valley, IL for nine years.

John Koessler is an award winning author and retired faculty emeritus of Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois where he taught for 25 years. He is the author of fifteen books including Dangerous Virtues (Moody), The Radical Pursuit of Rest (IVP), The Surprising Grace of Disappointment (Moody) Folly, Grace & Power: The Mysterious Act of Preaching (Zondervan), and served as the general editor for The Moody Handbook of Preaching (Moody).
