Description

Cybersecurity Video Resume & Skills Portfolio

If you have already completed one of Rob Cyber’s hands-on training courses, this course will show you how to turn those skills into a professional video resume and technical skills portfolio that you can share with recruiters and hiring managers.

We provide several Video Resume curriculum paths based on the type of IT or cybersecurity role you want to pursue.

For IT and Networking professionals, you can create video demonstrations covering:

  • Help Desk ticket creation, troubleshooting, and customer service

  • Splunk IT dashboards (Entra ID, VPN, DNS, etc.)

  • Wireshark DNS troubleshooting with Linux

For Cybersecurity professionals, you can build video demonstrations covering:

  • Splunk Network Security dashboards

  • Wireshark PCAP malware analysis

  • Intrusion Prevention System and Incident Response

  • Endpoint malware and host security investigations with Network Quarantine

  • Email phishing analysis

  • Linux Security Engineering

To take this course, you should have completed at least one of the following:

  • Cybersecurity Bootcamp: Zero to SOC Analyst in 21 Days

  • Splunk for Cybersecurity: Master SIEM and Log Analysis

  • Wireshark for Cybersecurity: Malware PCAP Analysis

  • Linux for Cybersecurity: Server Incident Response

Inside this course, you will learn how to use a screen recorder to professionally record yourself performing technical tasks, explaining investigations, working through security alerts, and demonstrating your job-ready skills.

Instead of simply telling employers that you know Splunk, Wireshark, Linux, phishing analysis, endpoint security, or intrusion prevention, you will learn how to show them your skills in action.

You can then submit your cybersecurity investigation videos and technical portfolio to job recruiters and hiring managers before the interview. This gives employers an opportunity to see who you are, how you think, how you investigate problems, and what you are capable of doing before the interview even begins. HUGE ADVANTAGE over the competition!

Who this course is for:

  • IT professionals, networking professionals, aspiring SOC Analysts, cybersecurity students, and job seekers who already have hands-on technical skills and want to turn those skills into a cybersecurity job offer by showcasing their abilities to recruiters and hiring managers through a professional video resume and technical skills portfolio.
