Welcome to the course - the objective here is to help you understand the way Advanced Automations can be used to support your customer journey. We're going to follow the Business Automation framework, and demonstrate example automations that could fit into each of the high level categories: Collect Leads (Marketing), Convert Clients (Sales), Create Fans (Service
We've also included a module covering operations automation, to help you identify ways automation could be used throughout your own internal processes.
Let's kick things off with the first section of Business Automation: Marketing (aka, Collect Leads). You should be generating traffic to your website, going out and networking, and connecting on social media; but if you don't have a way to capture leads from the traffic you are creating a lot of waste.
We'll help you create a public form (an opt-in) and automate follow up after someone fills it out.
As you are capturing leads, it's important to think through the next steps you'll want to guide them toward. In this module we'll show you how you can use automation to follow up with people who downloaded your lead magnet, and guide them toward making a purchase, in our case they're buying a custom one-on-one consultation.
Once we complete transaction, we might think we’re done. In reality, this is just the transition point from prospect to customer, and now it's important that we fulfill on the expectations that were set. For the product we sold, the next step is to get their consultation schedule, so in this module we'll show you how you can use automation to design the experience you want someone to have after making a purchase.
We've covered examples of how automation can be used in the Marketing, Sales, and Service sections of your business; but a powerful way to multiply the ROI you get from automation is by using it to standardize and streamline your own processes. In this module we'll explore that further by looking at automation throughout the new employee hiring process.
Before we wrap this course up let's take a look at the different automations we've built, and the way these independent components can work together to create a cohesive experience for our leads, prospects, and customers.
Thanks for spending time with us throughout this course, we hope you found the examples useful and are walking away with new ideas for how automation can support the experience you are creating for your customers.
