Description

In this course, students will learn everything there is to know about stencil design. Learn what techniques to apply to ensure that stencils are reusable as line thickness of words and lettering play a very important role in the design process. There are different types of materials available from which one can cut stencils from. Learn which materials work best with which paint method. You will learn how to change Raster files to Vector images.  Learn about the creative process of designing stencils from logos and changing multi-coloured logos into one-layered stencils designs. Take a step further and learn how to create multi-layered stencils for colourful logos, so that each colour may be painted separately. Mandalas adorn floors and walls beautifully, and you will learn how to create your own Mandala designs. Coffee stencils add a creative touch to cappuccinos, and you will learn the skill of how to create successful coffee stencils. Large and bold words against a feature wall, is creative and makes a statement – learn how to create your own designs whilst using a shadow affect with the wording. The custom stencil design industry has endless opportunities for artists and graphic designers who would like to take their stencil design skills and create an additional income. Students may use the skills learned in this course to start designing their own stencils or assist others in creating stencil designs.
