Crypto Asset Investment Analysis by Invictus Capital

Nick is an experienced financial services professional with a background in financial engineering and FinTech. Nick’s skills and expertise include financial instrument valuation, financial modelling, and start-up valuation. Nick is a chartered accountant and a Chartered Financial Analyst. He holds a Masters in Finance from the University of the Witwatersrand.

Formerly a software engineer that automated breweries around Africa and later turned to full-time trading and cryptocurrency investment analysis. Hugo has a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, with a honours in system engineering and engineering economics. He compliments the investment team by means of alternative investment analysis strategies and is in the process of acquiring his CFA accreditation.

Andrew is formally trained in traditional financial analysis and brings a wealth of knowledge from the financial services industry where his last position was Head of Operations for a distinguished Investment Management firm in South Africa. At Invictus Capital, Andrew has been primarily involved in sourcing deal flow, analyzing investments and consulting clients. Andrew holds a BCom(Hons) degree and is a CFA charter holder.

Ciaran is an experienced data scientist with demonstrated ability in creating predictive solutions. He started his career in scientific services as an Officer in the South African Navy, and is a registered professional natural scientist. At Invictus Capital Ciaran has co-authored two white papers, worked on artificial intelligence solutions for the cryptocurrency market, and led the analytics team from the inception of the Invictus Hyperion tokenized venture capital fund. He has Bachelor’s degrees in mathematics and atmosphere science, with a masters degree in mathematical finance.

Jonty was part of the business team that worked with MIT Media Lab to launch fintech and blockchain courses. His core focus has been building a value chain of relationships in the blockchain industry to grow Invictus Capital’s VC portfolio companies.

Jonty holds a degree in economics from the University of Stellenbosch.

Daniel is a serial entrepreneur & business executive with substantial practical experience in the start-up, technology & finance sectors. He has a strong background in developing products, business strategy and raising venture capital. Daniel’s achievements include: building the first tokenized crypto index fund (CRYPTO20), co-founding DataProphet (an advanced manufacturing AI business with clients like BMW and Mercedes-Benz) and founding the world’s first licensed Bitcoin sportsbook.

Daniel holds an honours degree in chemical engineering through the University of Cape Town.
