Discover comfortable hook and yarn grips, experiment with pencil or knife holds, and learn slip knots and chain stitches with tension control to start crocheting your first rows.

Master the single crochet, starting with the foundation chain and forming the first row by threading the hook through the chain's V; turn to crochet the next row.

Learn the half double crochet in the US system, including where to insert the hook, how to yarn over and pull through, and back-loop texture for a beginner scarf.
